This Practice Note sets out the requirements for the preparation of court bundles in family proceedings, including the documents to be included, format and lodging provisions, as provided for in the Family Procedure Rules 2010 (FPR 2010), specifically FPR 2010, PD 27A. It provides practical guidance on who is responsible for the preparation of the bundle and the consequences of non-compliance with the requirements. It also details the amendments made to FPR 2010, PD 27A with effect from 23 July 2018 and arrangements that should be made for the removal of bundles from the court.

FPR 2010, PD 27A sets out the universal practice for hearings in the Family Court and the Family Division of the High Court and applies to all hearings before a judge sitting in the Family Division of the High Court and all hearings in the Family Court.
