EU-EEA and Switzerland citizens (and their families) need to register with the migration authorities within four months of their arrival in Cyprus. Relevant information for the process and related costs can be found on the official website of the migration department.
In order for the necessary applications to be submitted to the migration authorities, the applicants must be physically present in the migration department.
Note that the time taken to complete the above process does not hinder an employee's ability to start their employment since the social insurance authorities will register citizens falling in this category provided that they have a valid ID or passport.
