The probationary period may be used in CDI contracts. The standard wording of a CDI contract does not presume that a probationary period is being used. It must be specifically written into the contract. The limits on the probationary period are set by the grade of staff the employee is awarded as follows:

- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý three months for supervisors and technicians
