As soon as working from home occurs more often than 'incidentally', the employer must ensure that the employee has good and safe working conditions.
Under the Working Conditions Decree (Arbeidsomstandighedenbesluit), the employer is required to formulate a working conditions policy. The policy must ensure that the employee has access to an appropriate desk, chair, monitor keyboard and computer equipment, and must be furnished with regard to ergonomic principles.
