Employment Act, ss 27–32 stipulate that deductions can be made from an employee salary for:
Deduction for: | Detail |
Absence from work | This is on account of absence of an employee from the place where, by the terms of the employment, the employee is required to work. |
Damage or loss of goods or money | The employer must hold an inquiry |
