9.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Employment law in Thailand

Thailand's labour law generally applies for both Thai and foreign employees. However, there are some legislations that only apply for foreign employees which might set out additional requirements, conditions and restrictions (see 5.3).

As the law requires, employers with more than ten employees must provide work regulations in Thai language, which contains at least the following details:

  1. Ìý

    (1)ÌýÌýÌýÌý working days, normal working hours and break times

  2. Ìý

    (2)ÌýÌýÌýÌý holidays

  3. Ìý

    (3)ÌýÌýÌýÌý rules for working overtime and working on holidays (see 3.3)

  4. Ìý

    (4)ÌýÌýÌýÌý date and place of payment of wages, overtime
