Employers who terminate the employment contract are required to make severance payment to the employees as follows:
Employees work continuously for | They are entitled to receive payment of not less than their wage rate for |
120 days but less than 1 year | 30 days |
1 year but less than 3 years | 90 days |
3 years but less than 6 years | 180 days |
6 years but less than 10 years | 240 |
