No new individual Names have been admitted to Lloyd's since 1 January 20031. However, individual Names admitted to Lloyd's prior to that date can continue to underwrite.
Individuals who wish to enter the Lloyd's market must now use one of the limited liability vehicles that were introduced to enable individual Names to convert to limited liability
