Personal and employment tax

An individual Name receives income and gains from various sources, including1:

  1. Ìý

    (a)ÌýÌýÌýÌý underwriting profits or losses

  2. Ìý

    (b)ÌýÌýÌýÌý syndicate investment income on invested premiums (see E5.617)

  3. Ìý

    (c)ÌýÌýÌýÌý interest and dividends on investments forming part of the Name's funds at Lloyd's (see E5.618, for background on funds held at Lloyd's see E5.604)

  4. Ìý

    (d)ÌýÌýÌýÌý capital appreciation on investments acquired with syndicate premium income (see E5.631)

  5. Ìý

    (e)ÌýÌýÌýÌý capital gains on disposals of investments forming part of the Name's
