HMRC warns customers to leave the firms’ schemes or risk large tax bills. HMRC’s Director of Counter Avoidance, Mary Aiston, stated this should serve as a ‘stark warning’ and that HMRC will continue to use all powers to ‘crack-down’ on promoters.
